Personal Review:
A efore starting the book I had said it would probably be one of the best books read so far, and it was.
From the beginning I liked the plot, characters and scenarios. Everything is correctly detailed, the reader is left with a very clear picture of the places and characters.
Stone Town, the first book of the Shadow Hunters saga is a great mixture of everything that comes to mind! It is as if they had gotten all the fantastic stories in a blender and there you have bone town, you find all sorts of creatures, and this is fine, but reached a point where I said "Enough!"
I should clarify that the author is LOCA, and I speak not so much for this book if not for the series in general, only she would think of creating a story, perhaps many do not finish to convince, but if you can open your mind and disconnect from everything else, you probably love the story.
The characters are well developed, each has a very marked personality and character, there are none is weak or poorly developed, Cassandra notes that much work each of them to create an atmosphere very credible and worth reading . Jace: arrogant, punk, rude, idiot who happens to be in one way or another loved by the fans (Oo)
Basically the story (no spoilers) counts as a world view Clary the previously unknown, the world of shadows, there's all sorts of underworld and of course the hunters of shadows, which are responsible for exterminating demons and other creatures, there will know what the main characters as Izzie, Alec, Jace Valentine and obviously his best friend Simon.
Everything is focused on a "mystery" about Clary, and most of all about the hunters of shadows, where even more is another crazy idea of \u200b\u200bthe author, full of family disputes between people who do not even know they were family!
The final can guess only if you are very attentive to every detail and with immediate capture all quickly, because otherwise you'll fall off the chair when you reach the last pages. An absolutely amazing final that you might like as not, to me if I love it!

worst: It has nothing worthy of being called "bad" but maybe the mix of all that can fit on the head of a person, it is interesting but not very convincing to the reader, in addition to a headache to remember all that and read the parts of the runes (I do not like it)
