I went to visit the Exhibition Fund, to be held in the Board of Plastic Artists Association Goya Aragon, held to celebrate 30 years since its founding in 1980, with works by artists who have worked throughout his career.
Upon returning to my studio and remember those early years, my memories take me to the years 1969 and 1970 at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, where I met the painter Eduardo Arenillas in Mural Painting Course and Restaurant, with teachers Manuel Villaseñor and Francisco Núñez de Celis, respectively. Arenillas had returned to Spain in 1967, after his stay in Germany and Italy, completing his training in San Fernando. One concern was to form an Association of Plastic Artists similar to those that existed outside of Spain, as the International Association of Art was founded in 1954 by UNESCO, which aimed to defend the rights of artists at both work and that Spain could not be included in social security and to join, as fighting for the rights copyright, intellectual property, creation of stores and workshops.
Young artists were hired for the work and a place to start this important action. Arenillas day invited me to visit that place and went in the morning, but it was closed. The next day I learned that had been closed by the police, since such associations were prohibited in Spain. In January 1977 some two hundred people gathered to flesh out the Madrid Association of Artists, with its President Eduardo Arenillas painter.
In 1978, Teresa and I moved to Zaragoza to restore the wall paintings of Goya in Aula Dei and begin operating the Art Gallery of Costa 3, whose local was already prepared for exhibitions of graphic art. In Zaragoza there was also a concern about forming an Association of Artists Gallery Aragon and talked about it, as Jesus Buisán the first President and then the sculptor Francisco Rallo.
in 1981 became the first major exhibition in Zaragoza The fish market under the auspices of the Fine Artists Association recently passed, then went to the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia in 1983. In this first show of 37 artists in the painting section, 5 Enamels, 3 in Sculpture, 7 drawings, 3 recorders and 1 potter 1 watercolorist. That is, was a manifestation of all artistic disciplines. The selection of works by Teresa was fat, Eduardo Salavera, Jesus Buisán, Natalio Bayo, Gregory Miles, Francisco Rallo Lahoz, and Jose Luis Morales critics and Angel Azpeitia. These 66 participating artists are the artists that are now a reality in the Aragonese and English art world and make up what has been the Art in Aragon in the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first, a real treat to remember. In July 1985 again performed in La Lonja a similar statement.
Now thirty years later, the Association of Artists Goya of Aragon, is an established institution that plays an important role, aided by the city of Zaragoza, which gives learn new values \u200b\u200band save the memory of the pioneers, giving the badge of silver to the early presidents, such as Jesus Buisán, Carmelo Rebullida, and posthumously, Francisco Rallo Lahoz, being collected by his grandson. Parallel to this event, opened the exhibition of the Fund, with the participation of 36 artists and this time includes photographs, letters from the sculptor sculptor Pablo Serrano Lahoz Rallo, attesting to the importance Crivillén artist gave to this institution. The current Board, composed of the President Mario G. Vives, Arturo Gomez, Maria Antonia Diaz, received from Councilman Jose Luis Medrano Silver Medal. Worth going to see the exhibition which runs until June 25 at the headquarters of the Avenida de Goya 1983-1987, in Zaragoza.
