Three Judges for a Long Silence is a historical drama that exposes starkly the past revolutionary days of Juan José Castelli, their participation in the North campaign, the defeat at the Battle of Huaqui, bizarre trial that is submitted, the treachery of his former comrades, the relentless advance of his illness, death, fear of oblivion.

Too much data for the Society of Patriotic functions, following strictly the ineffable theatrical provision that says that less than usual, and in all cases, it is, prefers to concentrate its meager efforts to adapt only ⅓ of this great epic Andres Lopez.

Juan José Castelli was a notable lawyer and politician of United Provinces of Río de la Plata, who sought by every means that the May Revolution was not gentrified as had happened before in France.

First Member of the Board and right hand of Mariano Moreno, Castelli was sent to Cordoba to oversee the execution of Santiago de Liniers, and then marched with the Northern Army to Alto Peru, where he took a series of measures of great importance for the peoples of the region (abolition of the half and indigenous servitude, authorization of free trade, land distribution among workers, is expressly prohibited to establish new convents and parishes) automatically thereby earning the resentment of all the elite of Buenos Aires. After achieving some victories
auspicious, the Northern Army was defeated by the royalist troops commanded by José Manuel de Goyeneche in the battle of Huaqui. On his return to Buenos Aires, the First Triumvirate decided to bring suit to Castelli, be accountable for the military defeat. Double

paradox of history! Castelli died on October 12 of a cancer victim in their language, the same who used to vehemently oppose English rule.

For the playwright Andrés Lizarraga, Casa de las Americas prize, 1960 was undoubtedly his great year because they came to release a total of five works by him: The Chariot Eternity, Alto Peru, St. Joan of America , Los Linares and three judges for a long silence. The premiere of this last title was in charge of the Latin American Theatre (OLAT), directed by Yirair Mossi, in honor of sesquicentennial of the Revolution of May.

At that time, Lopez, a writer committed to the historical, it was the following question: "Can we be so cerebral as to write a play without rage, without haste, without fear, transforming our cranial mass producing a perfect frigidaire literary cubes? "If this same question today, what would be our response? Brrr! Cold!

The Company Features Patriotic aims to establish itself as a stable group, in a country other unstable, which performs only on national holidays and whose repertoire must be limited to reasons related to the Patria and the history of our country.

With more than two years of experience, the Company released three shows: The Giant Poppies, by Juan Bautista Alberdi (filed August 17, 2008), The Neurosis of Famous Men in History Argentina, Jose Ramos Mejía (submitted on August 17 and November 10, 2009); Policy Casera, Exequiel Soria (filed May 25, July 9 and August 17, 2010).

is essential to clarify that the work of the Company may be revisionist or restorative, depending on the ideological mood in which its members are to face each of their projects patriotic.
